On November 6, with the aim of promoting the concept of "Green and environmentally friendly living, giving back to society with love" and cultivating the philanthropic spirit of Guangyuan staff, our company actively responded to the call of the Social Innovation Center. Led by Deputy Dean Xu Bo, we formed 13 teams totaling 52 participants to join the "Social Innovation · I Can Do It" charity hiking event, which adopted a joint fundraising approach to raise funds for outstanding public welfare projects in Shunde District.
A total of 553 teams registered for this charity event, with 4 members per team. At least 2,000 public-spirited participants took part in the hike, with donations reaching 14,708 person-times and a total fundraising amount exceeding RMB 630,000.
The hike officially commenced at 9:00 a.m., covering a total distance of 17 km. All 52 members of our company's 13 teams successfully completed the certification at four checkpoint stamping points and finished the entire course within 3.5 hours. With every step, we demonstrated extraordinary value and embodied the spirit of Guangyuan and the distinctive character of its people!
The purpose of this "Social Innovation · I Can Do It" charity hike was not to compete for speed or the first place, but rather to leverage teamwork and collective spirit to jointly challenge a long-distance hike, encouraging us to change our lifestyles, improve our physical fitness, and overcome difficulties together with our teammates. We believe that through this activity, every one of us will incorporate the values of health and environmental protection into our daily lives, inspire those around us to support public welfare with concrete actions, and contribute to the development of charitable initiatives!
