On January 15, 2021, the 2020 Year-End Summary and 2021 Work Objectives Meeting of Guangzhou Environmental Protection Engineering Design Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guangyuan") was successfully held at the company's headquarters. Zuo Manlun, Executive Director and President of China Lesso Group, attended the meeting via video conference. Guangyuan's General Manager Chen Yicheng, Deputy General Managers Luo Huaiqing, Xu Bo, and Xie Yongxin, along with department managers and key staff, were all present.
During the meeting, management representatives from each department delivered presentations, summarizing the achievements and shortcomings in their 2020 work, and laid out detailed work plans for 2021.
Deputy General Manager Xu Bo emphasized that the Commerce Department should finalize the overall commercial strategy as soon as possible, with targets assigned to each region and even down to individual employees. Deputy General Manager Xie Yongxin pointed out that the Procurement Department should reorganize its procurement contracts to establish a new standard contract template. Deputy General Manager Luo Huaiqing stated that the technical departments should thoroughly master and internalize proprietary technologies to achieve technical breakthroughs.
General Manager Chen Yicheng delivered an important speech. He first presented Guangyuan's 2020 business performance and the changes implemented during the year, then analyzed the company's lessons learned over the past year from four perspectives: company capability, technical solutions, business relationships, and competitors. He also set the business targets for 2021 and outlined the measures to be taken.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Executive Director and President Zuo Manlun made a concluding statement. He first affirmed Guangyuan's achievements in 2020, stating that as an important sector of the China Lesso Group, the environmental protection industry would receive strong financial and human resources support from the Group for any viable projects with promising prospects. He encouraged Guangyuan to maintain a long-term perspective, stabilize its existing foundation while actively exploring transformation directions, and attract talented professionals while controlling costs, ultimately building an outstanding team.
